Being an artist to me means showing the world how I see and feel. Every experience and activity I have done has opened numerous doors or windows to teach me two things. One, I am not going to like everything that I do, but I still need to push through. And two, everything I do helps build who I am. And building a stronger me helps me build others up. Every drive across town, every tutoring session, every couple hours of volunteer work comes together in a chain reaction of positivity. That is why my biggest goal in life is to create a positive effect wherever I go as an artist and a person. Giving out hope through all I do, whether art pieces or simple acts of kindness, opens up possibilities we don’t immediately see. Rolling out of bed every morning, I ask myself, “How can I make a difference for good today and in the days to come?”
